Getting Started with Windows Phone 7 development using Silverlight – Sergey Barskiy

The talk will cover the basics of Windows Phone 7 development using Silverlight.  Development environment and tooling will be explained.  A simple Silverlight application will be built.  Phone specific features of Silverlight will be shown, such as Application bar, GPS functionality and accelerometer, including sample applications for these features.  An overview of Silverlight controls for the phone will take place.  Resources to help people get started will be shown.

What's New in Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0 – Doug Ware

This talk covers some of my favorite improvements in both Visual Studio 2010 and .NET 4.0.
