Step-by-Step Azure Development

Synopsis: We will walk through all the steps required to develop an application that runs on Azure.  We will start with sign-up process for Windows Azure and SQL Azure.  We will create a relational database in the cloud.  We will setup new Azure project.  We will create database layer using Entity Framework.  We will see how to create a Silverlight application and business layer using CSLA.  Lastly, we will walk through deployment process.

Bio: Sergey Barskiy is a principal consultant with Magenic Technologies.  He has been developing applications solely based on Microsoft technologies since mid 90s and working exclusively with .NET since 2003.  He has been working with Silverlight since beta 2, as a member of CSLA for Silverlight development team and as a developer on client projects. He spoke at last year's Atlanta CodeCamp, as well as presented on various topics at Atlanta .NET, GGMUG and MSPROS users group.
